Ever desired some puppet stuff to listen to? Try Getting Felt Up!

Getting Felt Up! is a podcast run by Daniel Becker and Nate Begle. Two puppeteers that met and bonded on an ImaginOcean tour. Both are puppet builders and performers in the New York and Pennsylvania area that bring on their fellow puppeteers and their new friends in the field of puppeteering. They talk with their guests about how each started in puppeteering, and share interesting thoughts about being in famous productions and not so famous productions. Their show is a genuine fun conversation with their guest about Disney, Henson, building and performing, scary puppets, and what ever else is going on.

The things I love are visits where we hear about the background of being a puppet wrangler, the behind the scenes of Sesame Street, Bear in the Big Blue house, parades, and puppet kitchen.  They share great stories on how so many puppeteers got started and continue to make a living.
